Dennis Company began as Shepard & Dennis Transfer Company in Raymond, Washington in 1905. We began by selling firewood, coal, block ice, brick and lime. Shepard & Dennis were also involved in the business of piano and furniture moving. Co-Founder, S.L. Dennis became the sole owner in 1919 and purchased the building in Raymond, which we still occupy.

Since the beginning, we have stressed service, selection and everyday low prices. We live and work in the communities we serve.

We have 5 locations to serve you including Raymond, and in Long Beach, Aberdeen, Elma and Montesano.

Dennis Company is not just a hardware store. We sell a wide variety of products in over 20 different departments. Our sporting goods department includes hunting, fishing, camping, clamming, crabbing supplies, athletics and more.

We offer the largest selection of work clothing and sporting goods in the area. Carhartt, Georgia Boot, LaCrosse, Key and Western Chief are just some of the work wear brands that we carry. You can also find women’s and children’s clothing at our Raymond, Long Beach and Aberdeen locations.

Dennis Company also has a large garden department fully stocked with seasonal tools, plants and chemicals to complete your gardening and landscaping projects. Our Raymond and Aberdeen locations also carry lumber for your home improvement projects.

During the Christmas season, and with all other holidays, you will always find a large variety of holiday merchandise and there is a wide assortment of tools, gifts and decor  in our Housewares Department.  Don’t forget Fido; our Pet Department is one of our most popular.
