Harbor Association of Volunteers for Animals HAVA is an all-volunteer group serving the animals of the Twin Harbors region of Washington state. The area we cover stretches roughly from Westport in the north to Bay Center in the south. It encompasses portions of Grays Harbor and Pacific Counties.
PAWS The Progressive Animal Welfare Society advocates for animals through education, legislation and direct care.
South Pacific County Humane Society This no-kill shelter serves the Long Beach Peninsula area, adopting out more than 650 animals annually.
Willapa Harbor Chamber of Commerce The Willapa Harbor Chamber of Commerce and Visitor Information Center promotes north Pacific County, Washington, including Raymond, South Bend, Tokeland, North Cove, and Bay Center. Once you have visited you will agree that Pacific County is nature's best effort!
Grays Harbor Chamber of Commerce Grays Harbor Chamber of Commerce has been working to improve the Grays Harbor economy and quality of life since 1892. A not-for-profit business advocacy organization, the Chamber is not a municipal, county, state or federal agency. Coats for Kids The Coats for Kids Foundation was established in January 2004 as a public, charitable foundation. The Coats for Kids Foundation mission is “to ensure that every child who needs a winter coat receives a new one.” Donations may be made locally through the Elks Foundation at PO Box 26, Raymond, WA 98577.
Pacific County Fair During the off-season the fairgrounds are used for storage of boats and RV's. Little League and farm teams also practice there in the Spring. In the Fall months, Willapa Valley Jr. High uses the field for football practice. 4-H clubs use the arena most of the summer for practice. Other 4-H groups hold practices at various times. The Scouts also have a day there for their activities.
Grays Harbor Fair The Grays Harbor County Fairgrounds is located in Elma, Washington. The grounds are 68 acres in size, and include 15 major buildings and barns, 1200 parking spaces, and two outdoor stages. The Fairgrounds can host events as large as the Annual County Fair and the National Sprint Car tour, or as small as a committee meeting.
Willapa Harbor Helping Hands The sea of pink that covers South Bend, Raymond, Menlo and Lebam in October is part of the Willapa Harbor Helping Hands’ “Paint the Towns Pink” celebration that is held in conjunction with Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Relay for Life Grays Harbor A fun-filled overnight activity that mobilizes communities across the country to celebrate survivorship, remember those who lost their lives to cancer, and raise money for the fight against cancer. This is an American Cancer Society signature activity.
